Engineer bridging research and product

I take the "hypothesis → verify → visualize" cycle from electrical engineering research and apply it to web development as "problem → design → build → verify".

Research

Focused on "fundamental characteristics of streamer discharges," I use numerical simulation to analyze electric-field distributions, electron density, and discharge propagation speed. I iterate on forming hypotheses, varying conditions, and visualizing results.

Development

I build web applications centered on TypeScript / React. I take ownership from understanding user problems through requirements, design, implementation, and verification—prioritizing UI/UX that non-engineers can use comfortably.

The thinking process of ask, verify with data, and communicate results that I sharpened in research connects at the root with the development approach of "define the problem, validate with users, and deliver value."

Fundamental characteristics of streamer discharges

Streamer discharges are fast, filamentary discharges seen in the early stage of lightning and discharge phenomena. Through numerical simulation, I analyze electric-field distributions, electron density, and propagation speed under varying electrode shapes and applied voltages, aiming to clarify their fundamental characteristics.

  • Visualization of electric-field distributions and electron density via simulation
  • Comparative analysis of discharge behavior under changing voltage and electrode geometry
  • Contribution to validating and refining conventional theoretical models

Misato Town (Magic Exam School) web app

A fan-oriented web app themed around Misato Town (Magic Exam School). It provides browsing and management of character and event information for sharing and content experiences.

  • Responsive UI for smartphones and PCs
  • Faster loads via async processing and caching
  • CI/CD with GitHub Actions (automated tests and deploys)

Dental laboratory website (CAD/CAM telescopic dentures)

A website specialized in CAD/CAM telescopic dentures for a dental laboratory. It covers technology and case introductions plus inquiries, supporting outreach to clinics and patients. A separate admin site lets non-engineers operate content.

  • Admin site for non-engineers: image upload, text editing, and publish control
  • Login authentication and input validation for security
  • UI/UX designed for ongoing operations and maintenance
